Cold and blustery, with a mix of sunshine and showers today, according to Met Éireann. The showers will initially affect northern and western coastal fringes, but will become widespread during the afternoon. Some will be wintry, with the risk of hail and thunder. Highest temperatures of just 6°C to 10°C with fresh, gusty northerly winds.
